The Fountain of the Place des Jacobins in Lyon emerges as a captivating blend of architectural grace and fluid movement, a sculptural centerpiece that draws the eye with its harmonious design. The fountain, designed by sculptor Jean-Auguste Danty in the 19th century, is anchored by a series of elegant marble columns and topped with a circular basin that overflows with cascading water.
