Description

Seen from above, the shoreline reads less like a beach than a piece of drawn topography — a thin white lace of foam tracing the wet sand's edge like a contour line mapping some unnamed coast. Bathed in warm sepia tones, the whole frame feels less like a photograph of water and sand than an old, sun-yellowed map or a sheet of aged paper. The dark, wet sand pools into soft gradients, almost like ink bleeding across a page, while the foam's jagged, wandering line becomes the drawing itself — fragile, deliberate, alive with tiny bursts of texture where the bubbles catch the light. There's a quiet abstraction at work here: stripped of any horizon or sense of scale, the image hovers between representation and pure form, asking to be read as much as seen.
