Description

A single ember of red hangs low over a sea rendered almost entirely in cold, muted blue-grays, its soft, hexagonal bokeh the only warmth in an otherwise somber frame. Shot at water level, the composition lets the rippling surface fill most of the image, blurred into a soft, undulating texture that mirrors the low, brooding sky above. The sun itself, reduced to a faint, unfocused disc, feels more like a memory of daylight than the thing itself — distant, muted, and swallowed by the vastness surrounding it. It's a study in minimalism and restraint, where a single point of color carries the emotional weight of an entire seascape, and the low horizon line evokes quiet solitude at the edge of the world.
